Denpasar - As unit guidance and Kodam IX/Udayana's commitment in the 2024 Election, the Regional Military Commander IX/Udayana Major General TNI Sonny Aprianto, S.E., M.M., gave leadership hours to all unit leadership which was carried out via video conference and face to face in the Command Center Room Soekertijo Makodam IX/Udayana, Denpasar, on Monday (26/6/2023).
In addition to conveying the evaluation of the performance of the staff units so that they are effective and on target, during the leadership hour the Regional Military Commander IX/Udayana also stated emphatically about the neutrality of the TNI in the 2024 elections in this political year.
"The affirmation of TNI Neutrality in the 2024 Election is in accordance with the instructions of the Upper Command, that soldiers should not take sides and not provide support to any political party, Candidate Pairs (Paslon) and not involve themselves in practical political activities," said the Military Commander.
Furthermore, the Pangdam also ordered Soldiers not to provide TNI premises or facilities and infrastructure to Paslon and Political Parties to be used as campaign tools. Including the prohibition of giving directions in determining the right to vote for families of TNI Soldiers who have voting rights (individual rights as citizens).
"Apart from that, as a soldier, you should not respond, comment or upload anything related to the temporary quick count results issued by a survey institution. If there are TNI soldiers and civil servants who are proven to have violated the TNI's neutrality, they will be dealt with strictly according to the applicable regulations," said the Military Commander.
